Fall is for fun!

The weather here has been uncharacteristically fall-like, which is absolutely wonderful!  We took Jason and Sarah to the fall festival at a local church this weekend and they had a ball!  Today I received a large box full of presents that I have purchased for Christmas.  The box was full to the brim with packing peanuts.  So, Sarah has had a full afternoon of packing peanut crafts!  She has painted with them and glued them, put them in water and tried to destroy them.  Finally, after cleaning up the mountain of peanuts I wondered what to do with the non-biodegradable little guys.  After some thinking, I decided to make Sarah a peanut bag chair.  She can't stand top sheets on her bed, much like her father, so I went through the collection of top sheets and chose a t-shirt material one for the chair.  She is in love with it and I'm rather proud of my semi-creative moment!  I hope you are enjoying your fall as much as we are!  We will be hitting the pumpkin patch this weekend in search of some pie pumpkins!  What are some of your favorite fall traditions?
